Our Values
Starlight Reunion a collection of artists, dreamers, performers, and non-performers that share common goals and values.
Be polite, conscious, awake, kind, respectful, consensual, and have fun.
Community & Radical Inclusion
We welcome artists, dreamers, performers, and community members from all backgrounds. No prerequisites exist for participation in our community. We believe in calling people in, not calling them out, and fostering genuine connection through shared creative experiences.
Artist Support & Fair Compensation
We value artists and believe they deserve fair compensation for their work. As a sustainable nonprofit, we implement transparent pricing structures that allow us to pay artists appropriately while maintaining accessibility through tiered membership options and low-income programs.
Safe & Respectful Spaces
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual misconduct and are committed to creating safe environments for all humans. We believe in accountability, consent culture, and looking out for one another.
Environmental Stewardship
We respect and protect Montana’s natural spaces. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities, cleaning up after ourselves, and whenever possible, leaving places better than we found them. We value our connection to the land and waterways of Western Montana.
Participation & Creative Freedom
Everyone is invited to work and play. We seek transformative experiences through active participation rather than passive consumption. We celebrate self-expression and believe everyone has creative gifts to share.
Sustainable Operations
We build our organization to last for generations. This means operating transparently, compensating contributors fairly, maintaining realistic budgets, and creating systems that don’t burn out our volunteer teams. Sustainability applies to both our environmental impact and our organizational health.
Educational Mission
We exist to educate the public about art and facilitate meaningful interaction between artists and community. Through workshops, performances, showcases, and gatherings, we provide platforms for artistic growth and public engagement.
