The Block Party
Hosted by Industrial Arts Montana, the block party takes over Ronan Street between Addison to Schilling and turns it into a full-blown industrial art showcase, packed with hand-forged metal, handmade goods, and custom-built DIY sound systems and art cars.
It’s free, it’s all ages, and there’s something for everyone, from curious kids to hardcore audio nerds.

Ever wanted to swing a hammer at glowing-hot steel? Here’s your chance. Expert smiths will guide you step by step as you forge your very own spoon, leaf, or hook to take home. No experience needed, and yes, the kids can try it too.
The Hi-Fi Sound System Showcase
Eight sound systems. From all corners of Montana. One street.
Custom DIY builds you won’t find anywhere else. All day long, each system gets its own hour to show what it can do. Between sets, the owners and builders will walk you through how their rigs were made, what music they pair best with, and answer every question you’ve been dying to ask.

Hear straight from the makers about their process, their inspiration, and what goes into building art that’s meant to be felt as much as seen. Featuring:

All-Night Halloween Dance Party
Starlight Reunion and Funktionality Presents are throwing the best late-night Halloween party in Missoula.
When the sun goes down, the party moves inside the American Legion for 12 hours of music on a full Funktion-One sound system. Doors open at 6 PM, and we’re not stopping ’till 6 AM.
Costumes are highly encouraged! Come dressed to impress (or to terrify). Tickets are limited, so don’t wait until the witching hour.
