* A Note on Ticket Prices:
As many of you know, Starlight Reunion has relied on donations to cover costs for events and we were fortunate to cover most costs at Forest Creatures this year. We were not, however, able to pay the 40 plus artists and musicians who gathered with us. It is Starlight Reunion’s New Years Resolution to begin paying the artists who gather and make our community what it is. Your $10 ticket will allow us to do that, and we think that is important. We still rely on an amazing group of humans who volunteer literally 100’s of hours of time on these projects, and that will continue. If ticket costs are an issue for you, please contact us and we will accommodate you. You are also welcome to volunteer or make a larger donation if you are able.

Visual Artist Spotlight:
Ashley Meyora

We are excited to announce that Ashley’s work will be featured in our Speakeasy Lounge area. Ashley Meyora is a local encaustic and mixed media artist originally from the Bay Area, CA and Red Lodge, Montana respectively. She received a BFA in painting and secondary teaching licensure from the University of Montana, in 2017. Her work has been published in the Rise and Shine magazine, and she has exhibited work in the Gallery of Visual Arts, The University Center Gallery, and the Radius Gallery.

Artist Statement

The cyclical nature of life and personal patterns of reflection direct my creative process. I use a variety of materials to respond and translate these experiences into non-objective and abstract paintings. Working and reworking the surface, adding and subtracting layers, stepping into and away from a developing artwork becomes a physical and mental dance. This process is a form of communication; a conversation between artist, paint, and surface.
